*bows* Hello. My name is Moonfur. Joining this site, is actually the last thing I should be doing, but... I simply couldn't resist! After looking around, I found myself captivated, and I could refuse my impulse. It sounds rather bad, now that I think about it... I'm very busy, currently, and I may not be that active. I'll get on now and then, but my workload won't lessen, until two weeks have passed. I've also noticed that this is a fairly new site. I'll do what I can to stay very active as well as promote this place. I hope I can meet up to the expectations here. With the minimum of 200 words per post, and the traditional names. I'm not the greatest of posters, and I like coming up with "different" warrior names. Traditional ones are tough for me to think of, but I'll do my best. I'm being rather formal, too. I'm not usually like this, but I think it's because I'm trying to make a good post. I also have quite a few questions... > Is there a limit of characters one person may have? > Do we start off with some characters? > Are the higher positions available to newbies? > How do things run around here? Time of day, plots, etc. I have other questions, but I think I'll try to find those out for myself. Sorry, if I'm being a bother in any way.

Welcome to WARRIOR BLOOD, Moonfur! :3
1. You may have as many characters as you'd like, so long that you keep them all active. ^^ If we feel that you have too many characters, we'll ask that you either start roleplaying with your inactive characters or delete some of them. If you can continuously roleplay 10 cats, we're fine with that, but if you're only roleplaying with two of them, it becomes a problem. 2. There are no "pre-made" characters at the moment, so you'll have to create your own. 3. As long as your form is accepted, you may have a high rank with no regards to your join date. We're just getting started, so we're all fairly new! 4. We don't actually have an established plot yet. Since we run on liquid-time, though, I'm fairly certain that the time of day can vary from roleplay to roleplay.

Hi there, Summerrush. Thank you for the welcome. On another site, I have over twenty cats. But since I've been busy lately I haven't been able to be very active with any of them. Despite me already having so many, I can't stop thinking of more and more characters. I've decided I'm going to give myself a limit, and I'll try to stick to it. No more then one or two cats per clan. So, we don't buy any "slots" or "positions" for characters? What are the "mice" for then? I hope it's alright if I have a medicine cat in Riverclan. I'm making a Warrior in Thunderclan, and I have a few plans on some other cats, but I'm not sure what age I want them all to be in... maybe I should make them all warriors... Thank you for answering all my questions, Summer. But there's still a few more I have... > What are the guidelines in relationships? > What or who decides the time of day? > How will I know when a certain amount of time went by? > Are plots made by staff, or all members? Also... Liquid time confuses me. I understand how it works, but it's hard for me to keep track... how is it managed? Are there limits or guidelines when using Liquid time? I have more questions, but... I figure I can learn as I go. Thanks for all your time, by the way.

-Mice can be used to buy things such as special markings and unnatural eye colours. We do plan to add more in the future, though! -For relationships, there is an entire section about them in the Rules. "1. You may only breed and become pregnant in season.
2. You must then have both parents post on the romance board.
3. As stated earlier, force-breeding is not allowed.
4. When making the bio for the kit make sure to only include the personality and appearance. The last word is 'moon'. You can update the history as the kit's life plays out.
5. You can do what you want with the kit; you can put it up for adoption, or you can have someone roleplay it.
6. What you get is entirely up to chance. No complaints."
-Who decides on the time of day is completely up to you and whoever you're roleplaying with. -In our roleplay, one real month is equal to one real season. So, every four real months, an entire year has passed by on the roleplay. -The staff will probably make up a large plot, but we may or may not accept ideas from members in the future, as well as accept mini-plots. -Liquid time is basically when your character can be in more than one thread at the same time. For example, you could post about Ravenpaw hunting with his mentor in one board, then go RP him sharing tongues with his sister in another board (meaning that he'd technically be in two places at once).
I'm glad that I could help you. Hey, that's what I'm here for. ^^

Okay. Now, I get the whole idea with having mice. Thanks. Alright... I understand the whole process with kits and such, but what about the relationships themselves? What if two members want their cats to be mates, but it's a forbidden relationship? And can a she-cat get pregnant without any known father? And as for the kits: how many kits do we get in one litter? I think from what I understand, the staff decide on the litters, is that right? And if so, do the members who play the kits get to name them? Right... I think the months equal seasons was in the rules. Sorry about that. And I know what Liquid time is, but it still confuses me... What if Ravenpaw was to return to camp with his mentor, and the Ravenpaw, who was sharing tongues with his sister was there? How does that work out? And can Liquid time be done, with one cat say trespassing on another clans territory? Is there a limit to how many threads the same cat can be on? Oh! And also... How will I know if a name I picked isn't traditional enough? I love thinking up names, and I always try to keep them original, but not many of them sound very "traditional". At least I think they don't. Thanks so much, again. Sorry if I'm being a pain. I just want to understand certain things completely before I start.

-I don't believe that we have banned forbidden love, but don't make every single character love a cat from a different Clan; it's not standard. One or two forbidden relationships can actually be quite fun, but they're over-used. -It would be better if your cat had a known father. Most she-cats aren't going to go out in the forest one day and return home with kits in her her stomach. -The staff decide how many kits you will receive in your litter. All of our calculations are completely random. -Yes, the kits' players can name them if they'd like to (unless the queen's roleplayer would like to choose). -What happens in one thread would not be happening in another. For example, if Ravenpaw discovered that his mother was a rogue in one thread, he would not know about it in the other thread that he participates in. He would only know for threads created after the one where he learned that knowledge. -Your character can be in a maximum of three threads at once. -It really depends on the name that you choose. I have previously rejected the name "Spiritpaw" because spirits are of a higher power than cats. as the moon, sun, and stars are. However, Golden let me use the name Summerrush for my cat, even though it isn't "traditional". I incorporated it into my cat's history.
Have you taken a look at the rules yet? Most of your answers can be located there. c:

I see. Alright. Thank you so much for all your help with answering my questions. I did, actually read the rules, though that was after I first made this thread. I noticed there were things in there that were related to some of the questions I was asking, but it wasn't very clear to me and I just wanted some confirmation. Oh! Just one more thing! One the profile, when it asks for a "short description" is that all it is? A short description of the cat? It's hard to think of something I haven't included in the appearance, personality and history...
Eep! I can't make this post 200 words! Maybe I should ramble on about something... I'm nearly done making my Thunderclan warrior, and Riverclan medicine cat. I plan on making a cat in Windclan and Shadowclan, but right now I can't resist an urge to have a kittypet in the Horse Place. I shouldn't make too many characters... Especially since I still have so much work to do... But it's so much fun! But I shouldn't do that if I can't stay active with them... Then again I can always post at least once per cat every day! I'm sure I could cram some time in for that... maybe... Ah-ha! Now my post is more then 200 words! Success! I had to make half of it rambling, but... I did it~!

Yup, that's what a short description is. ^^ Basically, it sums up your cat in one or two sentences.
I'll use Halfstar, one of my characters, as an example. His short description is, "A large, brown tabby tom with a missing left facial area and cold, yellow eyes." This gives you a basic idea of who he is. However, many details are left out. Is his fur long or short? Are his stripes bold or subtle? Exactly what does his left eye look like if he was mauled? In the Appearance field, I put a much longer description of what he looks like.
"Halfstar was once a handsome tom. He has a large build, and he is strong and well-muscled. His pelt is brown with darker brown tabby stripes upon it that stand out dominantly. Though he is not fat at all, he is quite bulky because of his strengthened muscles.
The left side of Halfstar's face is a devastating sight to bestow upon. His fur is missing, and several deep scars lay upon it. His ear is halfway missing (a bit like this). His left eye is blind, and the eyelid is permanently closed.
Halfstar's eyes are a pale yellow and pierce any cat who stares into them deep enough." In the Appearance, you receive much more information on the cat, and that's where details belong. Your short description has to sum all of that up.

Oh.Thanks, Golden. ^^;
And thanks Summer. I get it now. X3 And I think my two profiles are done. I think I might want to make two more later. I'm so excited to start RPing here!
Btw... I was looking at the sub-boards, and I hope I'm not getting out of line, but... Couldn't more be added in some places? Like in the Riverclan territories; the River's Edge, or the Marsh. That sort of thing.
